Legal — Refunds
Refund and withdrawal policy
This policy explains your right to cancel a purchase of the STAGEVIS Show license and how to ask for a refund. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record, who handles refunds on our behalf.
Right of withdrawal for consumers (EU and EEA)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day the contract is concluded, that is, on the day of your purchase.
Digital-content exception
The license is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), the right of withdrawal ends once we have begun to supply the digital content, if you gave your prior express consent to the supply beginning during the withdrawal period and you acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
Where the checkout asks you to consent to immediate delivery and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, the right of withdrawal ends when delivery has begun. Delivery has begun when the license key email is sent to you, and at the latest when you activate the key in the app. Before that moment, and if the checkout did not ask for, or you did not give, that consent and acknowledgement, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies in full.
The free edition lets you evaluate every feature before buying, so that you can decide without relying on a refund.
How to request a refund or cancel
- Use the link to manage your order in the receipt email from Paddle, or contact Paddle through its buyer support page, quoting your order reference (it is also in your license email).
- Or write to us at contact@stagevis.app with your order reference and the email address used at checkout. We will pass the request to Paddle or answer you directly.
Please state clearly that you wish to withdraw. You can use the model withdrawal form from Directive 2011/83/EU, but you do not have to.
What happens after a refund
Paddle refunds the price you paid, including the VAT it collected, to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of accepting the request. When a refund is granted, your license is no longer valid for builds released after the refund, and you must stop using the Software with that key; the free edition remains available to you. The key may be listed as revoked in builds released after the refund; builds released earlier are not affected.
Other rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights that you have under mandatory law, including statutory warranty rights if the Software is defective. Paddle's buyer terms may grant additional refund rights; where they are more favourable to you, they apply.
